Job Description

Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Market Assistant Manager. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the market, which includes serving Starbucks drinks. Your responsibilities will encompass managing inventory, supervising staff, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and overseeing food service. Barista experience is preferred. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and profitability of the business while working in a dynamic environment!

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Market Manager in the daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the market.
  • Overseeing the serving of Starbucks drinks and food, ensuring strict adherence to our standards and guidelines for delivering exceptional quality beverages and food items.
  • Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure stock availability to meet customer demands, including Starbucks products.
  • Train and supervise market staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized market environment, including merchandising and product displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and create a positive experience.
  • Oversee food service operations, including take-out options, in compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Market Manager to develop and implement promotional activities and marketing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities, making recommendations for improvement to enhance the market's offerings.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail or market environment is required.
  • Barista experience and knowledge of food preparation operations and standards is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays


Full-time
Pay = $18-22/hr
