Job Description

Our client, a public agency, is seeking a temporary Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. This role requires a polished and professional individual with excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential and time-sensitive tasks efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calendar & Scheduling: Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and arrange appointments with public officials, department heads, and stakeholders.

  • Travel Coordination: Arrange travel accommodations, including flights, hotels, and transportation, ensuring smooth itineraries.

  • Administrative Support: Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence.

  • Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and distributing relevant materials.

  • Communication & Coordination: Serve as a professional liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.

  • Other Duties: Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role supporting senior executives.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience coordinating travel arrangements and scheduling.

  • Ability to interact professionally with public officials, department heads, and key stakeholders.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and general office software.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Full-time

Pay = $35/hr
