Job Description

Our client, is looking for an administrative assistant This position reports directly to the Executive Director of the organization. The right candidate will have a can-do attitude, be accurate, pay attention to detail, and have a sense of urgency to respond to situations. Candidate must be reliable and punctual with a sense of teamwork. Sick pay and mileage paid.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Administrative Duties
Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner
Schedule clients in cloud-based software
Data entry into Excel
Creating campaign letters in Word
Help with fundraising events including virtual golf tournament (getting sponsors, participants, etc.)
Social media marketing (must have knowledge of Facebook)
Help with errands and tasks assigned by Executive Director
Help with filling out state paperwork and remaining compliant with state regulations

Knowledge of Word, Excel and Google Docs
Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
Ability to perform basic administrative duties
Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to work in the field and return to administrative duties upon returning to the office.
Ability to communicate with clients, office staff and caregivers in a friendly and positive manner
Possess a valid driver' s license and valid auto insurance, must be able to drive
Successfully complete DMV check and drug screening

Monday through Friday. Part Time to start with a transition to full time. Starting pay is $17HR

Angela has over 20 years’ experience in the field of legal, administrative, and personal services in the business and hospitality industry.  Her skills also include customer service, non-profit fundraising, membership development and management of rental properties that include long term residential leases and short-term vacation leases.  Angela’s expertise includes preparing leases, keeping track of rental payments, scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed.

Angela joined the Proper Solutions team in 2016 as Administrative Coordinator and quickly promoted to the role of Office Administrator.

Community service is very important to Angela and she sincerely believes in Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self”.  Angela was a member of the Palm Desert Rotary Club for over 18 years where she planned and coordinated their annual golf tournaments, pancake breakfast and numerous fund raising events.

Angela currently serves on the Board of The Pendleton Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping meet the financial needs of Coachella Valley residents suffering from Cancer.
