Document Scanning Specialist

Job Description
Our client is seeking a Document Scanning Specialist to assist them with a document scanning project. This will be a 4-6 month project.
Key Responsibilities:
Scan required documents, organize and set up file folders, and review archives for retention purposes.
Ability to input plans and documents into the Laserfiche document database.
Assist in the creation of file names for new customers using Google Docs, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Skillset:
-
Great attention to detail
-
Experience using scanners, computers, and other basic office equipment

Experience using Excel
-
Experience with file management
-
Experience particularly in digitizing documents is a plus

Laserfiche experience is required

The ability to fill, lift and move around file boxes
What you will be doing:
-
Primarily “inventorying” files into boxes, requires some light lifting

Using Laserfiche to add metadata to files (no editing files, only adding metadata)

Recording progress on a tracked Excel sheet

Preparing boxes of files to send for scanning
-
Scan files using our in-house scanner, if needed.
Full-time / Mon – Thurs (10 hour shift)
Pay = $18-22/HR
