Our client is looking for a bilingual (Spanish) Human Resources Manager that would be responsible for the following duties:

• Handle all recruiting and onboarding of employees

• Administer benefits programs such as health, and dental insurance, 401K, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance

• Process all insurance claims, disability claims, workers’ comp and termination paperwork

• Oversee all human resources policies and procedures

• Coordinate open enrollment

• Assist with all job postings, reviewing applications, new hire paperwork, applicant follow up, etc.

• Strategically promote company and hiring through online postings, social media activity, and job fairs

• Assist with reference verification

• Facilitate leaves of absence in compliance with state and local laws

• Identify, escalate, and navigate employee relations issues with an empathetic, solution-oriented approach

• Maintain records according to federal and state requirements i.e ACA, EEO1, CADD

• Remain up-to-date and be an in-house authority on local employment legislation and compliance

• Oversee performance management and review process

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience as HR Manager

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred. Strong preference for CA labor law certifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer required; basic

• Proven to excel as a highly productive, proficient and accurate with data and detailed type work

• Ability to speak, write and read the English language, Bilingual in Spanish

• Able to multi-task and work independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to manage time effectively

Full-time / Monday - Friday

Pay = $45-55k per year
