Job Description
Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician for a temporary role up to 6 months.
Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
-
Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
-
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues
-
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure
-
Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service
-
Perform software troubleshooting and assist with software installations and upgrades
-
Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses
Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field
-
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
-
Familiarity with network administration and TCP/IP protocols
-
Experience with software troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
-
Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and other networking concepts
-
Experience working for a public agency is a plus
Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with end-users
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Full-time (some weekends may be required)
Pay = $22.81 - $24.64/hr
